The Karen culture has many celebrations and in those celebrations they have many dances like the Karen bamboo dance. It is performed in many celebrations and the don dance. It is a series of dancers with the Karen's traditional instruments playing in the background.

Karen culture and how they CELEBRATE... people go to church to play games and sing and when the clock strikes midnight they celebrate. Karen new year celebration no the first day of Pyathoe on lunar calendar which is generally the end of December or beginning of January so basically that means some type of peace between them and their homeland if or when they were demanded.

Karen culture National CELEBRATION...
Karen National Day is held on February 11 and commemorates the demonstration on February 11, 1948 when Karen people demanded their own homeland.
